If you loved the barbecue rubs for steak and chicken, this one is the best for pork.


Makes 2/3 cup

Memphis-Style Rub


  • 1/4 cup sweet paprika
  • 1 1/2 Tbs. coarsely ground black pepper
  • 1 Tbs. each granulated sugar, kosher salt and packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 Tbs. each celery salt, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, dry mustard and ground cumin


  1. In bowl, combine all ingredients, Transfer to airtight container and store in cool dry place.
