When a tense day triggers body aches, I heard from some people to take a moment to gaze at chocolates.  According to them, simply looking at those rich brown hues stimulates the pituitary gland that triggers the release of endorphins.  These are feel-good brain chemicals that flood the body after physical activity to ward off pain.  Just looking at it results to a calmer mind and an ache-free body.

Hmmm, but not for me, haha.  Just gazing at it without even a small bite of that rich, luscious, melt in your mouth chocolate candy won’t be enough!  Now tell me, can you resist a few pieces of these?


Chocolate is more than just a comfort food or to simply satisfy your cravings for sweets.  It has antioxidants that improve blood circulation.  In fact, some studies reveal that eating a bit of dark chocolate  each day can enhance blood flow throughout the body.

A lot of good things have been written about chocolate and the things I mentioned above are just a few reasons to love it even more.  The only drawback is, it’s still packed with calories, but a piece or two a day won’t hurt.  So make everyday even more wonderful with chocolate.  Happy eating!  🙂
