We all know that basil is the traditional main ingredient of pesto, but the peppery arugula is a flavorful substitute.  You can also top it to pizzas, toss it with pasta or stir it with mayo for a more flavorful dip.

    I make pesto a lot, I also use spinach instead of basil. I haven’t tried arugula though. Tks for the info.
