If you find it nearly impossible to keep your cookbook pages from flipping over while you prepare the ingredients, use your glass baking dish as a paper weight.  The heavy bakeware will hold the pages down, while the clear surface makes it easy for you to see the next step.  And because the bakeware is covering your recipe book, it is safe from splatters and your messy hands.  Happy cooking!  🙂

    I’d still end up with splatters all over my pages. Between me and my 6yo daughter, we tend to make a mess when cooking.
