Wilted asparagus?  Save them by trimming 1/4 inch off the bottom of the stalks and immerse in a large glass filled with 2 inches of water.  Cover the tips with a plastic bag and secure with a rubber band.  Submerging the ends replenishes water loss, shocking the veggies back into shape, while the plastic bag limits the supply of wilt-promoting oxygen.
