You want to cook roasted chicken for supper but you don’t have a roasting pan.  Here’s the fix:  Peel and slice two large onions in half and place them cut side down underneath the bird.  This will allow air to circulate around the chicken for even browning, plus the onions will add savory flavor to the meat.
