Out of lemons?  Don’t worry because you can still keep sliced fruits (like apples , pears, bananas) from browning using honey.  It can help prevent oxidation in the same way citrus juice can.  Just a tablespoon or two would be enough to coat the slices and add a touch of sweetness.  I would recommend using light honey, it has a milder flavor and won’t compete with the fruit.
