I only have 2 grown kids. That doesn’t mean though, that my life is “easy peasy” because they are grown up and they are only two. I also have to tell you that my first born is a single mom. She and her twin daughters are staying with us. So, that means I have a husband, a son, a daughter and two granddaughters to take care of. Now, that doesn’t sound too easy, right?

Each one of them has a different schedule. My son who is in college wakes up at 4:30 every morning. His breakfast has to be ready by 5:30. My husband eats his breakfast at 7 and my daughter arrives from work at 9. The girls are usually up at 9:30 and it will take half an hour to an hour before they ask for food. That will change again when they start school in August.

It’s only after 10 that I get some time for myself and that is usually spent working out. Then, it’s time again to look after the twins. I barely have time to eat, though I actually wouldn’t mind if I am losing weight. But alas! The weight won’t budge despite the busy schedule.

My Thoughts

Everything looked so fresh and delicious when the meals arrived. I took some photos and placed them immediately in the fridge so they’ll still be fresh the following day. I was pretty excited the next morning because not only will I enjoy a delicious meal, but very healthy as well.

The servings looked small (of course, they are only for a 1200K calorie diet), but they certainly are filling. All are yummy and you can tell that fresh ingredients were used to make each meal.

I only wish heating instructions were included when they sent the meals, so people won’t be guessing how many minutes you should heat a particular dish.

Recommendation

Overall, I had a wonderful experience with The Good Box. The meals sent to me were all delicious and another thing that I really liked is they are all so filling. Although I am used to having more, I didn’t feel hungry in between meals. If all my diet meals will be this yummy, I can definitely do this! If you’re a busy mom who doesn’t have the time to prepare healthy diet meals, give The Box a try.
