I was cleaning up some of my albums when I found these photos. I was supposed to post them a couple of months ago, but I was preoccupied with a lot of things that I forgot all about them. It’s our first time at Yabu. We’ve planned on dining there for so many times, but because there have been always a long queue and my boys didn’t have the patience to wait, we always ended up dining somewhere else. And then one Saturday two months ago, we’ve all agreed to wait. And after an hour and a half or so, we were able to finally sample the Katsus. So, here they are, finally.
Seafood Katsu Set 2
Salmon, black tiger prawn, crab, oyster 545.00
Served with unlimited Japanese white rice or organic brown rice, miso soup, Japanese pickles, organic cabbage with your choice of dressing and a bowl.
For the twins, we ordered the Chicken Katsu Meal. The set includes Chicken Katsu, potato croquette, edamame, Japanese rice, cabbage, and bowl of fruit. There are two choices for the sauce: curry or honey mustard. We chose the honey mustard sauce for them and asked that the meal be split into 2. The set is for Php195.00 and it’s a shame that I didn’t have a photo of that.
The cabbage salad is also unlimited and there are two dressings to choose from: Sesame and Soy. Both are awesome, but I liked the Sesame dressing more. There aren’t a lot of photos because most of us had the same orders. We are all familiar with Katsudon and Tonkatsu and we give Yabu: The House of Katsu a thumbs up. If you’re looking for a great place to eat this one is highly recommended. Below are some of the pics we took while we waited for our food.
