Not many of us are fish persons, I for one don’t like eating fish when I was younger.  Back then, just so my siblings and I would eat fish, mom won’t cook anything else.  On days that were having fish, only fish and rice will be served, nothing else.  It was a good strategy and it worked well for us because we’ve grown loving fish.  And it’s also a strategy that I am using now with my kids.

But lately, there have been reports going around the web cautioning women not to have more than 340 grams of fish in a week.  These reports say that our risk of mercury poisoning increases if we have more than that.  This led me to research on how we could get the optimum omega 3 we need to have a healthy body.

As I was doing my search, I found that Fish oil omega 3 fatty acids in capsules are the best option.  But if you have to take it, you have to be careful in choosing the right supplement.  Many of these capsules claim they are the healthiest but not all of them contain highly purified fish oil.  Look for a fish oil supplement that offers an unprecedented level of purity, potency and freshness – like Omax³.  Click on the link for more info.

One response to “Don’t Like Fish?”

  1. Omega 3 fatty acids are very good for you. Adults should have at least 2 servings of fish a week. The best kind of fish for you are Alaskan Wild Salmon and Tuna. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding you should avoid deep water fish that eat smaller fish such as sward fish and shark. Great article! Thank you for sharing.
