The heat is killing me!  Lately, we’ve been experiencing a weird weather.  It’s the wet season and we’re supposed to have showers, but even if it rains in the afternoon, it’s still scorching hot.  I can’t have the air conditioning running all the time, it will definitely break my bank!

Hubs has asked me to look for a ceiling fan for our living room. Stand fans don’t help.  Well, they do.  But ceiling fans generate more air movement, keeping the room well ventilated.  Our living room is kinda small, having two fans is not a good idea.  Installing a ceiling fan is much better because of the significant amount of space that I will save and it’s  a permanent fixture that’s out of the way.

I am now looking at Minka Aire Concept II fan. The fan features 3 concave blades set at a 14° pitch to offer efficient air distribution. It is available in many finishes including white, brushed nickel, maple, mahogany, and oil rubbed bronze.  I like the mahogany finish, it would match our wooden furnitures perfectly.

By the way, if you’re also looking for ceiling fans, you might want to check LightingSale.com.  I’ve compared their prices from other dealers and theirs are much lower.  Shipping is free so go and check it out now.
