Keto-Friendly Chocolate Mug Cake

Instructions

  1. In an 8- to 10-ounce mug, combine the dry ingredients.

  2. Add the oil, water, and vanilla, stirring until no dry spots remain and the batter is smooth.

  3. Place the mug in your microwave and cook the batter for 45 seconds on high. Check the cake and if any part of the surface isn’t set, microwave for 5 to 10 seconds longer; in a 1000-watt microwave, the cake should take 50 to 55 seconds total.

  4. Remove the mug from the microwave and let the cake cool for 2 minutes. Stir the chocolate chips into the warm cake, and enjoy! A dollop of whipped cream is a nice addition.
