Everyone here at home is not fond of eating under cooked food except for my mom who likes her steak rare. Roasting chicken is also a challenge because I keep pricking the inside part of the thigh just to make sure that the juice coming from it is clear and not pink. It’s really hard to tell when you don’t have a food thermometer. I was actually about to get one when I was offered a chance to review EatSmart Precision Pro Digital Thermometer.

My Thoughts

I like that this food thermometer is small and easy to hold. I also like the color and it looks very modern. I was very excited when it arrived and can’t wait to try it, so I decided to make roast chicken. I didn’t have to insert it too deep into the thigh and what really amazed me is that in just a few seconds, I already got a reading. The numbers are big enough and the blue backlight makes it easy for me to read the meat temperature even without my specs.

Another great feature of this thermometer is it tells you to what degree you should cook your meat. This is a big plus because the cooking time and temperature for each type of meat varies.

The tool is easy to clean. I simply washed it with soap and water, wiped it and stored.

Recommendation

If you’re not used to using a thermometer when cooking meat, you should start using one. You won’t believe how handy it is and how it cuts your cooking time. It saves you money as well because you don’t have to keep on opening your oven just to check if your meat is cooked, helping you save on gas or energy. Best of all, you and your family will have a perfectly cooked meat every time. This is definitely a must have!

Where to buy?

You can avail of the EatSmart Precision Pro Digital Thermometer on Amazon. To know more about the food thermometer and for more information about their other products please visit Eat Smart.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
