Loving Japanese food so much, I’ve had the privilege of owning a copy of YouLin’s Japanese ecookbook, entitled A Touch Of YouLin’s Japanese Kitchen. If you still haven’t heard of You Lin, he is the author of Japanese Recipes blog.  A Chinese-Japanese chef who dedicated most of his life learning the art of Japanese Cuisine but now he is retired and serves his yummy dishes only to his wife and family.  He thought of compiling his famous recipes into a book as his legacy for those who love to savor YouLin’s creations and to share them to all the lovers of Japanese dishes.

I like that his recipes are  so easy to follow.  His dishes are simple yet elegant and delectable.  Here are some of the dishes I have tried…

egg custard

Never thought I could ever make this one.  Egg custards seem very complicated to prepare but I was surprised at how easy it was.

Pork Katsudon

Mapo Tofu

Cold Tofu

japanese odeng
Japanese Oden

If you’d like to get a copy of YouLin’s eCookbook, please click on the banner on my right sidebar.  Happy cooking!  🙂
