My sister kept bugging me to try the dish Chicken Marsala. So I searched for the recipe and off I went to the wine store to buy a bottle of Marsala Wine. I scored one for almost Php 700. It’s expensive but the bottle is big so you can use it several times for cooking… or enjoy it as a drink. Here’s an easy one from Allrecipes.com. I added sliced white onions for more flavor.



1) In a shallow dish or bowl, mix together the flour, salt, pepper and oregano. Coat chicken pieces in flour mixture.

2) In a large skillet, melt butter in oil over medium heat. Place chicken in the pan, and lightly brown. Turn over chicken pieces, add onions and mushrooms. Pour in soy sauce, wine and sherry. Cover skillet; simmer chicken 10 minutes, turning once, until no longer pink and juices run clear.
