This place is just a few minutes away from our place, but it was only recently that we were able to try their burgers. Hubs and son are both pizza and burger lovers, so when I told them we’ll be trying out 8 Cuts, the boys were ready in no time. Why was it named 8 cuts? That’s because they use 8 cuts of beef in their different burger patties; rib eye, chuck, sirloin, short rib, brisket, hanger, flank and ox tail. Here’s what we ordered.
Four Cheese. Parmesan-crusted quarter-pounder Beef Bomb Blend patty of chuck and short rib, yellow cheddar, aged gruyere, mozzarella, arugula, garlic aioli all on a Sesame Seed Bun. Single Patty 245.00, Double Patty 345.00
The Q-Daddy. A quarter-pounder OX Blend patty of flank, oxtail and rib eye with yellow cheddar, onion tanglers, crisp bacon strips, iceberg lettuce, tomato, jalapeno ranch and sweetly spiced BBQ sauce all on a Sesame Seed Bun. Tri-Cut 295.00, Double Patty 385.00
Piggy. A quarter-pounder Beef Bomb Blend patty of the chuck and short rib with mozzarella, fried bacon strips, house-made bacon jam, lollo rossa, tomatoes, garlic aioli all on a Sesame Seed Bun. Single Patty 245.00, Double Patty 345.00
Bleu. An onion-griddled quarter-pounder Steak Cut Blend patty of sirloin and chuck with blue cheese sauce, fried crispy leeks, blue cheese crumble, caramelized onions, lollo rossa greens all on a Brioche Bun . Single Patty 245.00, Double Patty 345.00
Don’t be shocked about the onion rings. There are actually more rings. What you see is what’s left when I went to the washroom. 🙂 The patties are all very tasty and juicy. I thought the burger was too big for me, but I was surprised that I almost finished mine. There are still a lot of other burgers in their menu to try and you can even make your own. We will definitely be back.
