Tomato And Mozarella Salad

Ingredients:

  • Mozarella cheese, sliced
  • 1 large tomato, sliced
  • fresh basil leaves, washed and wiped dry
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste

Procedure:

Arrange fresh basil leaves on a small plate, then arrange mozarella and tomatoes alternately on top of the leaves.  Sprinkle with salt and pepper.  Mix the vinegar and oil together in a small bowl then pour over the salad.  Enjoy!  :)

    Love the cobination and do it often, specially in Summer.
    To season, I use extra virgin olive oil, vinegar and smashed dry oregano leafs on top. Yummy and healthy!

    I love the breakfast sandwich in Starbucks.. getting addicted to it. It has mozzarella, tomato and basil on multigrain bagel. so yummy! :D
