What is Bake for Good?
Bake for Good is King Arthur Baking Company’s free outreach program for students in grades 4 through 12. We have three goals: learn, bake, and share. Students learn the math and science of making bread from scratch. With supplies from King Arthur, they bake the bread recipe at home or together in school. The recipe makes two loaves, one to keep and one to share with someone in need or as an act of kindness.

Mindful Baking
Using baking as a mindful activity, this free bake-along lesson shows you how the simple acts of measuring, mixing, and shaping scones can give you a sense of calm, peace, and balance that benefit your emotional well-being and overall health. This lesson can be done from start to finish in about an hour and is a great fit for SEL counselors, scouts, after-school groups, or families wanting to bake at home. There is no registration needed and we do not send supplies for this lesson. However, if you are a school or non-profit group and need support baking, please contact us at bakeforgood@kingarthurbaking.com.
